The Austrian artist Jutta Waloschek, also known under the name
"iutta maría de las manos", was born 1931 in Dresden and
spent her joung years in Argentina. She completed her education
as an art teacher and painter in
Buenos Aires and in Vienna. In both cities she is keeping an atelier.
Her productivity and aristic
commitment is demonstrated by more than
120 individual and collective exhibitions and
by several prizes and scholarships she earned.
Besides whatercolour and oil painting, drawing and illustrating books, Jutta is paritcularly activ in the field of textile designing, making big collages for wall decorations and colourful silk paintings.
However, Jutta has never neglected her pedagogic abilities and is particularly devoted to the artistic education of children. One of her specialities consists in workshops for the promotion of artistic creativity, which she organizes both for children and for adults.
